As soon as your puppy arrives home, it depends almost entirely on you. It is your job to look after all of its physical requirements like feeding, housing, worming and grooming. However, it is in the development of the pup's character that your role is extremely crucial.

Puppy PreSchool classes are designed to:

  • socialise puppies with other dogs and people
  • start basic obedience training and teach good manners
  • educate owners about all aspects of puppy development and pet care
  • help make trips to vet enjoyable for all

Puppy PreSchool Information

You will get written puppy care/training handouts and free pet care samples will be supplied throughout the course. Puppy Pre-School is a four-week course, one hour a week. Classes are held at the clinic in a safe and clean environment. Classes are run by our certified Veterinarian Dr Dennis Wormald. Dr Wormald has a special interest in animal behaviour. He has spent 5 weeks working with behaviour speicalist veterinarian Dr Kersti Seksel. Dr Seksel introduced puppy preschool to Australia, and by seeing how the puppy preschool classes are run at Dr Seksel's clinic, Dr Wormald will be bringing you the most up-to-date information on how to raise your puppy.

A deposit, at least one week prior to commencement is required to secure your position in the class.
